Piper's is a bit of an odd place: it is a little on the scuzzy side, but it holds a very special place in the Antigonish heart. The food is not the greatest, but if you want to interact with the locals - this is the place to do it. The pub during the school year and the summer are two very different places. As it is one of the only drinking establishments in town, it serves as the closest thing to a club. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piper's Pub:
i made 2 visits to Pipers this summer. One I thought was a guaranteed fun time, the night of the Kilted. IT was sadly a dead night but fortunately, it only takes a few good friends at a table and a good band to dance to to save the night for us at least.The food we had was nothing to get excited about.The second night was the Beach Party with Daryl MacLean....MUCH better. I went today at around 5 with a friend for the first time, I got wings and a bacon cheeseburger. When we got our food the server through our food down and walked off, even when she brought the bill and we were going to leave she didn’t even say bye or didn’t even smile once. Almost hostile. As two people who work in food service it was astounding to see. The food came out and looked amazing but was a bit dry. The atmosphere was very nice and overall was a nice place, besides the server. Won’t go back if she is working!
I had A very bad experience at the pipers pub the securities were very racists they kicked my friends out without any particular reason it was very heartbreaking didn’t expect this from those security personnel’s ?
Local spot found by accident on tour everyone at the bar was eating fish and chips so that's what we had delicious wattress couldn't be nicer fun
The food and service were fantastic, but the washrooms were so disgusting, the floors were sticky.
The phone doesn't seem to be working anymore. A few times now I've tried to phone in some takeout and the phone will just ring forever or say not in service. Perhaps not updated on google.Would change my review to 5* when its fixed
