We stumbled upon W & C on a day trip to Antibes. Warm welcome, good food, proprietors were exceptional. Food was traditional and fresh. Especially the baked apple dessert. Well worth the money. View all feedback.
What Luciana Barbieri doesn't like about Wine And Cheese:
Diifficult to know what profile this restaurant is aiming at. Oyster bar, or world food, or "wine and cheese"? For sure, warm, smiling and friendly welcome, which is not to be neglected knowing that we are in Antibes, but what about your plate? Very disappointing and a bit verbose. View all feedback.
Everything cheese! _So, the menu changes regularly and I'm almost sure that what I had will not be available when you are there but here's a recap:__1.
This restaurant changed owners recently and the positive reviews do notnecessarily reflect today.
This was likely one of our best dining experiences in France thus far.
We discovered this little place randomly wondering around the old town of Antibes. It was a great find. The menu is very simple: frog legs, snails, oysters, cheese and meat boards and wine.As the place felt very French (in comparison to most nearby Italian looking restaurants) we decided to go for baked Camembert, snails and frog legs. Everything was perfectly delicious including amazing cold Chardonnay. The only little criticism I have, they served everything at the same time so by the time we finished snails and cheese, the frog legs went a bit cold. The service was so warm that such little minus didn't spoil this amazing experience for us! Definitely will stop by again next time in Antibes.
Came across this gem in Antibes old town. Menu of oysters, cheeses etc really appealed. Service was great and the food fantastic. A bit different to the usual fare and well worth a visit. Really good value too...
