The waitress hurriedly shuffled us in the direction of a beach front table (I.e. in the sand) and took our order, warning us that happy hour ended at 6pm, and that the bar would close shortly thereafter. A woman of her word, she promptly began to stack the tables and chairs, and take down the sun umbrellas around us. A great location for an evening drink, just not sure why it closed when it did.

Our table was within 4m of the sea... read more Located right on the beach off the main promenade, we reserved a table for an evening meal timed to see the sun set at 7.40. Our table was within 4m of the sea edge and we had a lovely view of the stunning sunset as we slowly ate our way through an excellent meal. Good choice of both seafood and meat dishes, we had 1/2 crab and goats cheese crostini for starters followed by bavette of veal and sea bass on millefeuille for mains. Creme brulee for desserts rounded off the meal well. Service was excellent but we were eating fairly early so it was relatively uncrowded. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic beach setting for a good meal with stunning views. Prices are on the higher side of average but well worth it. We looked at all the other restaurants on the beach and this one seemed the best to us.
