GENCO - Antibes

The place is nice, ok, but I don't know that they were underoccupied or what, but we reserved a table (it is a must in a tourist place like antibes! around 20.30 we were 2 adult, a 1y old baby and I am 8m old pregnant....We ordered a court of gnocchi (it said they were not available, so fresh pasta instead, which I was completely well cooked and cooked. after more than an hour nothing came to the table. we have literally starving! the personal was not even cod and attentive to bring something brot in the meantime. people, it is not able to take care of themselves or a few tables at the same time, change job! never again!

The food was beautiful and beautiful portions. the waiter was super beautiful, very attentive and helped all our needs. good wine selection and beautiful places to sit, would definitely visit again

One of the few restaurants that are open on Friday night in the fairytale. I ordered an salad with toasts/ goat cheese, which was underwhelmed for the price. mostly salate with the toasts. my man had the salmon bavette/steak with frit and very small salat or garnish. wine selection not great....Very relaxed service and average eating.

We booked via The Fork. At arrival our table was not available and it was already Late. Only one guy serving all tables, running like hell to serve all. We were sited outside, in the Middle of the traffic with terrible view on the road....We were served with more than one hour delay. Never again!!!!

There are hundreds of restaurants in Antibes and choosing the right one can often be a daunting task.. but this little gem is definitely worth a try. On the night we visited they had a special offering three courses for €25. We were a group...of three adults and two children, each of the adults choosing from the special menu none of us being disappointed. The steak in a port sauce, and the prawn and grapefruit salad being especially nice. The kids both enjoyed their steak hache (a proper steak burger, which I couldn't help trying it was absolutely delicious). Then the desserts amazingly for this type of special, you got the choice of anything from the full menu.. Big portions, and very tasty! Special thanks to our server, who dealt with our limited French while coping admirably with the other customers in the restaurant by himself.. Very impressed, 5 stars!!
