Love this place, we often go for lunch. The service is good, they do the utmost to accommodate seating. The food is mainly, sandwiches, salads and galettes. (Savoury ones are gluten free). Perfect for location too. A sun trap on a bright winters day.
Hi, I went to this place yesterday, Sunday June, 28th with 2 friends and we received a very cold and bad welcome. We arrived around 10h30-10h45. A booking for 4 people was previously made and we even confirmed the booking the day before our visit. When we arrived, I introduced myself and said that we booked for 4 people. The server THOMAS gave us the last seats at the back with kids around, next ti the toilets, while plenty of places were non occupied in front of us... pretexting that the other places were for other bookings.. I haven 't found yet what was the criteria to be such as the back and no seat plan were showed to us. I have to say that we did not arrive carrying any specific brand and I am a black woman with AFRO HAIR. The server THOMAS was unhelpful, useless, haughty,..answered with so many disgrace while we asked to move to an other place to enjoy our day as it supposed to be. Regarding his colleagues, they did not try to help neither... After 4 requests to move to an other place and 2h00 of our time wasted there, we finally left.. When we left no one tried to understand why we were leaving, neither to assist or to say goodbye. I really do not recommend this place, which only value stereotyp people , which are certainly not black, with atro hair, mixed race, or with curvy bodies... After this bad and ridiculous experience, we had a lunch to a Lebanese restaurant in Antibes, which name is: Le Phenicia. I highly recommend it! My friends and I had a such lovely time there and were happy to spend our money usefully ; then we went to one of Antibe 's beach.. To conclude, I would say that the French Riviera is nice, just pay attention where you put your feet in ..no Cesar in la Garoupe beach!! If you meet someone such as this Thomas take a deep breath and keep your cool; a such person is called useless so keep going on your way, do not stop! PLEASE!
