We ate here on both of our evenings in Antequera because it was so tasty. There is no English spoken here but they have a translated to English menu. The service is speedy and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. There is a huge variety on the menu and most of it can be served in ½ rations; perfect if you have a small appetite or, equally, if you want to sample a couple of dishes. The décor is simple, paper tablecloths, etc. and a great atmosphere with fully occupied tables.
We went for the 10€ 3 course menu which we enjoyed but next time will pay a bit more for a better lunch. The best thing about this restaurant is that it's busy and full of Spanish people. More like a school canteen for grownups. Full of fun and chat. The waiters were great and very efficient. Paper on table. We loved it and will def go back again.
Local , tasty food. They are doing great job. Very good local food. Thank you very much especially to the nice and smiley waiters- Juordin and his friend (I hope I spelled the name right)
Delicious food, old style main course, lamb a bit small portion , main course of the day is well done. I recommend all people who do not expect posh style!
I stayed in the Hotel for a few nights ,so it was an easy choice to make really , the bar and restaurant were both buzzing day and at night . It was also on the Gastronomic Tapas Route that was taking place at the same time and was one of the popular bars taking part . Very good tapas and full meals were available both day and night .Menu del Dia 8;50 € M/F and 10 € at weekends . A first for me was at Breakfast ...Mollete a traditional bread of Antequera
