My Japanese husband and I live in Ansonia and we really were hoping for a place not too far away to get good Japanese food. Unfortunately, this is not too authentic or special. My husband says the chef or owner is not Japanese, which he could tell from the rice. Clean,friendly staff although they don't speak much. Good selection of sushi ? Everything is super fresh. You won't be disappointed if you go there.

We ordered takeout online from Koi tonight for the first time. The food was ready in less than 20 minutes and it was amazing. We especially loved the Sweet Potato roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll.
