Chifrijo Restaurant Bar - Ansonia

Ordered online on slice and when I got to the restaurant they told me that slice doesn?t notify them when they get an order so they hadn?t made it yet. I ordered it 25 min before and was told it would take 20 min to make the food. The lady I spoke to was very nice, not blaming her at all, but if that?s the case you guys should be checking slice periodically to see if there?s been any orders or just stopping using slice. it was my first time here and very disappointed in the experience and the birria tacos were not that great either. hate to write a bad review

Had a girls night here a few nights ago! My sister said this place was good, so I decided to check it out. The restaurant itself was really nice! I love the lighting and the music. Really chill vibes. We ordered 3 things and all shared. We started with Chicharron De Cerdo. I've never had this before and wow was it delicious! Luckily we got two orders and it definitely all went! The Yuka fries were so tasty too! We also ordered shrimp Ceviche which was really good ! We ended with the 3 steak tacos but sadly where not good. The steak tasted like dirty grill. They do have potential tho and they took it off the check which was nice! The service was great and I will 100 percent return.

I would rate this place ten stars without hesitation! The drinks were not only delicious but also strong. I ordered the pool party drink, which came with a cute little rubber duck floating in it. The food was full of flavor, vibrant, and absolutely tasty; I had the steak lomo and the portions were generous. Last but not least, the DJ was fantastic, mixing the latest Spanish music with some R&B, reggae, and hip-hop. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and spotless. My waitress was delightful, frequently checking to ensure we were doing well. I give it five stars!

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere in the evening, combining great food with delightful music! Our waiter was incredibly friendly and suggested some amazing drinks and dishes for our table. The portions were more generous than we anticipated, so if you're looking to leave satisfied, this is the place for you! I can't wait to return!

The food is delicious when they manage to get the order right. However, on my first order, they forgot to include a whole lomo that I had paid for. Since I ordered through Uber, they wouldn’t send a replacement and told me to resolve it myself by calling them. I've placed several orders, and each time I try to order pizza, they inform me that it's out of stock—every single time. It's incredibly disappointing, to say the least.
