What Barba Mundial doesn't like about Barzini's Italiano:
Mostly alfredo sauce dishes. Bread not included in a basket before meal-unless you order it $8.00 plus sauce $2.00 for 6 small sticks. Dipper fries-we needed 2 plates $8. each and $2. sauce for 7 people. Many f us had steak alfredo $20. meat was pretty tough but ok. Very small glass of cheap red wine $7. no specials. Had a wonderful experience and dinner. Food was amazing. All of it. The waitress was so much fun and the food came out quickly with some super fresh bread sticks. It's likely the smallest restaurant I've ever dined in at but that kind of adds to the charm. Glad we stopped in, I'm sure we will be back again!
I absolutely love this place! I can't believe we've lived so close and never tried it until now. The atmosphere is wonderful, with great music, lighting, and an excellent staff and chef. I can't wait to return! It felt so comfortable, like being at home! I recommend making a reservation to guarantee a spot; we didn’t, but we visited during a quieter time and got lucky!
Who doesn’t love a hearty Italian meal, especially in the suburbs? Barzini's may not look like much on the outside, but it’s exactly what you’ve been craving. The cozy and charming seating makes it an ideal spot for a date. Everything on the menu is made in-house, and those breadsticks? They are simply to die for! They keep serving them when you dine in, so be sure to indulge. Don’t skip the soup either! It’s both hearty and light, bursting with authentic Italian flavors and that classic fresh tomato taste. I personally found the steak alfredo to be the perfect comfort food I needed on a gloomy, unpredictable Minnesota evening. I’m definitely planning to bring my next date here to discuss the nuances of The Godfather films! You won’t be disappointed.
I got the steak bites, wife got tortellini, kid got spaghetti. We all thought our food was very good. Limited seating so reservations are definitely way to go.
Their new place is so gorgeous! Same delicious food and amazing atmosphere. If you love The Godfather and Italian Food then this is where you need to go. ??
