Harpers Tavern - Annville

I've been driving all the time after Harpers Tavern's kayak and I've never stopped. On the other day, my brother and I just made this impulse of the momentary choice to stop there after paddling for several hours. We were not disappointed. Menu price is a little more, but the quality is a little more, but still completely affordable. I went with a Bacon Cheeseburger food. That was the best burger I had in Lebanon County. I have always made my Burger medium and this place delivered an almost perfect looking sandwich. The bacon is also commendable, it was soggy or cooked over, just perfect bacon for a sandwich. The roll was soft and tasteful. Our service was fast and our waitress was beautiful and very well designed.

This is an old building that was apparently pub and restaurant since 1804. It was certainly not updated in a while. But it's charming. The service was first rate and the prices were very reasonable. I have the Chicken Parmesan (which I found in the pasta for some reason) and it was good. It was served with a dinner salad, came with a warm roll, salad dressing etc. My only complaint was the chicken itself was hard. So hard that I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it. A colleague of mine got one of the veils and had the same problem, so it was either a problem in the kitchen at night, or maybe this is the way they prepare their meat? The server had a hard time to describe the vegetables of the day. It was Brussels Sprouts and when we asked him how it was prepared, the question came to him. Luckily the table had ordered next to us, the conversation overhears and showed us that the sprouts were roasted. It was a good meal and a pleasant service also with a few small failures and if I am in the area in the future, I will definitely want to turn on again, as the menu is quite extensive with many possibilities to explore.

We had the best experience in Harpers Tavern! Not only was the food absolutely delicious from this world - we also had an absolutely out of this world server. She was at the top of things could not come before! I'm a BIG dumper, no matter what, but this server got a 70% TIP!! She was worth every penny we made sure she knew we appreciate everything she had done for us. I'm so terrible with name or I'd give her a scream. Unfortunately, I can't do that because I can't remember her name. There is such a story she gives you a newspaper that has all the information of 200 years ago when the first person owned the property. It is known to be hunted, that was my main reason to take my daughter there for her BIRTHDAY DINNER. Anyway, I was glad that we not only have a GHOST for the fantastic service, but for the EXCELLENT FOOD to SPOT! My daughter saw the little girl in a dress run around playing behind the bar-just mentioned before me that a little girl was seen in a dress by others!! That was crazy! It's a must to see space.

I wish I would have actually had pictures of my delicious burger, but I ate it too fast. First time vistor. What a great place! Loved the atmosphere, I loved our server, she was excellent! And our party of four couldn't rave about our lunch anymore than we did. Fantastic place. Will definitely visit again when in Pennsylvania.

Always a great time to get some food nearby and change it up. Not my go to place, but nice way to mix it up for lunch. As a dinner option it is probably as close as you will get for fine dining in the area, and it does a good job at such. Great selections on the menu.
