La Regence - Annemasse

Staff not welcoming. Unfriendly. cleaning during the service ( vaporetto ) noisy. during the note negotiation to pay by card while everything was in currency. contactless payment without customer agreement.

Waiting for a table in a restaurant we were looking for a place to drink a biere. We don't know the city, so we found this place. We regretted it. The place is in a lately advanced stage, the bar was almost empty, apart from some regulars at the counter that were in charge of broadcasting music. Very strong and very bad. The waiter still smiling, opens the door wide allowing a cold air to return. Anyway, if they wanted to get us out of here, they wouldn't have taken it any other way.

I had the opportunity to go have a coffee in this brewery that would deserve a good refreshment, it was very good and the waiter was nice!

On the street. That's the point. a huge terrace, but plastic furniture. We're ordering beers, and I'm saying I want a big glass of water. with a big smile, as always. The waiter comes back with a tiny glass of warm water, telling me that it was forbidden here to serve a glass of water with something else than a coffee, and that he had to lie to his bosses to have one for me. In the meantime, people next to us, point out that the price of the cream coffee increased according to the hours of service. (see photo)So I did not resist to go ask the question (about the glass of water) to the bosses behind the counter. Despite my smiles and courtesy, I had a cold and condescending welcome. "We're not here to give free water glasses to everyone"! Will they scan, several times in a row, completely deaf to my reasonable remarks. Finally, the cb is accepted only above 15€. short, a mediocre brewery managed by people obnubilated by profit. First and last time for us.

Just back for a coffee. no drinks outside fruit juices and wines. The server is just unpleasant. We came out immediately. I don't even understand that such bad people are in trade...
