There is nothing pretentious about... read more In an area full of Michelin-starred restaurants, Le Denti (although mentioned in the Michelin Red Guide) may not get its due. There is nothing pretentious about charming this little place, but the seafood and other dishes are superb, making the most of intense local mushrooms,...vegetables (beet root), wines, and other ingredients. The Menu Plaisir at our visit started with lobster with girolle mushrooms, followed by an amazing St. Pierre with calamari, beet root, artichoke, and eggplant. Then a delicious cheese course and a fig and ice cream dessert. Wines are very reasonably priced. The service from this married couple team is friendly and helpful (and forgiving of fractured French). After having been overfed the night before at a starred restaurant that cost three times as much, we had a wonderful dinner here.
