Went here for brunch on a Sunday. The buffet was delicious. I got there towards the end so some stuff that I wanted to try was already gone, like the sushi. They also had bottomless mimosas which is always a plus ! View all feedback.
What Mark G doesn't like about Yellow Fin:
We have been going to Yellowfin for several years. I was very pleased with the dinner served at a catered event as well as the Happy Hours. Dinner in the restaurant part have not been satisfactory. Most recently we were there with a club dinner meeting. The temperature was unacceptably cold (probably 60F or lower) and it was impossible to escape the cold draft from the vents. The manager came to the table and explain... View all feedback.
This used to be one of the best places to go for dinner. Beautiful, upscale, great food, and excellent service. I hadn 't been here for many years and I came here for a family birthday dinner. We were a group of 12. And we had one waitress. The only reason I am giving two stars is because our waitress did the best she could. Some of us were ordering cocktails. And we were getting them one per hour. I went to the hostess station and asked about getting another waitress to help out so we could get our drinks on time. She said she would get the manager. No manager ever showed. That started a night full of disasters. From not getting cocktails on time to my father getting dripped on from the ceiling because it was raining outside to a manager finally coming over to help us and asking US what we wanted him to do because the building was 90 years old and blah blah blah. Horrible. Needless to say my family and I will never go there again. Which is a shame because we always thought it was a really nice restaurant to go to for a special dinner.
Service was great and I had a wonderful experience.
I absolutely love this establishment well at least their brunch. There is plenty of options for all taste buds. The fact that there is unlimited mimosas included is a plus. Our waiter was Tim (definitely ask to be seated at his area) he was pleasant, always around, great recommendations on what to add on my custom omelette, he remembered most of the names and we had a large party. He even took pictures for us which turned out to be perfect! In my opinion there is no bad location to be seated but this time we were placed by the window and you get to see the boat area which was a really nice touch. Every item I had was delicious I forgot to take pictures.... If you're looking for a brunch spot that's reasonable, delicious and worth the drive then Yellowfin is where you should go!

Most recently we were there with a club dinner meeting. The temperature was unacceptably cold (probably 60F or lower) and it was impossible to escape the cold draft from the vents. The manager came to the table and explained it was impossible to fix that, not realizing that they could simply raise their thermostat temperature setting. I asked for what beer was on draft; the server said Look at the menu but none were listed while draft handles were clearly visible. On another occasion the medium rare steak I ordered arrived beyond well done but the server insisted it was mid rare.
