The Canton - Annapolis

I've been a fan of this place since I was a kid. Although they no longer offer the lunch buffet, the food is still excellent, and the service is fantastic! The dishes are hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant whether you're visiting Annapolis or you’re a local.

This is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have ever ordered from. The cold sesame noodles were inedible and clumped together with peanut butter, making each bite taste like a peanut butter and soy sauce sandwich. The Crab Rangoons were just stuffed with cream cheese, and the shrimp dumplings had an off-putting flavor. I'm puzzled by the five-star reviews; everything was mostly inedible, and we ended up throwing it all away. It was a waste of money—nothing was fresh, and the food was overcooked or poorly prepared.

We have been dining at Canton for more than 30 years, and it remains the best when it comes to authentic Chinese cuisine in Annapolis. They consistently serve the freshest dishes without any gimmicks. Don't bother eating anywhere else!

Christmas Eve, four adults for dinner with one child. Rushed to our table, and then waited to order. Two dishes weren't served. We didn't complain or make a fuss, just left after sitting down at 7:30 and leaving at 9pm. Half of our group didn't eat, because the food wasn't ready. They kept saying it was coming out. Lip stick on the wine glass, and cold soup. This restaurant wouldn't make it in a metro city.

Great food, I can not believe this place wasn't packed on a Sunday afternoon. I had the hunann lamb, it was amazing.
