I had a wonderful dining experience tonight. I ordered the rockfish stuffed with crab and paired it with asparagus, along with a cup of cream of crab soup. I usually avoid ordering asparagus at restaurants because it's often either overcooked or undercooked, but this was absolutely perfect. The rockfish was seasoned just right as well. As for the soup, I can't praise it enough—rich and creamy with generous chunks of... View all feedback.
What Jen W doesn't like about Ports Of Call:
After spending too much on a hotel room, there's nothing worse than splurging on a disappointing buffet breakfast that includes watered-down coffee. The buffet table was uncomfortably cold, making the day-old potatoes even less appealing. The vegetables in my custom omelette had a seafood flavor, which took me by surprise. On the bright side, the staff was friendly. View all feedback.
I had a room in the Hilton for my usual, early birthday celebration. So I decided to have dinner at the Ports of Call restaurant in the hotel. Glad I did. The reviews were spot on. Carlos was my enthusiastic, heart-warming, inviting, and charming waiter and he was also running the bar with such professionalism as well. My dinner(apologies, no pictures of my food)consisted of the well renowned cream of crab soup. Truly creamy and generous amounts of crab. Then I had the Cesar salad. The portions in this salad were plenty. The atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. Carlos was so attentive to everyone in the restaurant. He added more positive energy to my early, private birthday dinner celebrations. No doubt about me heading back there again. Thank you Carlos!
The staff understands the true meaning of hospitality. Special thanks to Carlos, who treats everyone like a VIP.
The bar tender jenny was very nice last night and this morning they brought coffee to our room. What more could we ask for?!
When they said award-winning crab soup, they are not kidding. It’s amazing! Our server was incredibly friendly and we had a great experience as always!
We are staying at the hotel where this restaurant operates. They have gone way down hill. Wings were horribly BREADED of all things, crab soup had the consistency of grade school art class paste, calamari was 90% breading and tasteless. The only thing they managed to not mess up was a turkey club sandwich, which managed to be acceptable.
