Annapolis Ice Cream

This is one of the best ice cream shops I've ever visited! We went there on a Friday afternoon, and the guy at the counter was incredibly nice and welcoming. He offered us samples, and I mean generous-sized scoops! He was so patient while we deliberated over our choices. We ended up getting two double cups. The portions were enormous and surprisingly affordable for such a popular tourist spot. The ice cream was incredibly fresh—my blueberry pie flavor tasted like someone had just mixed fresh pies into vanilla ice cream moments before serving. The chunks of pie added a delightful touch! My husband loved his brownie butter flavor. It wasn’t listed on the menu, but the guy kindly retrieved it from the back when we inquired—super thoughtful of him! We both adored the birthday cake flavor as well. They use chocolate sponge cake in it, which is a fun twist since most birthday cake flavors use yellow cake. It had a lovely sponge cake texture, and it tasted just as fresh! We appreciated that none of the flavors we tried were overly sweet. I also noticed they welcome dogs in the store. The Annapolis Ice Cream Company exceeded our expectations—highly, highly recommended!

Annapolis Ice Cream Company is the top ice cream shop in the capital of Maryland. We make a point to visit whenever we're nearby. The selection of flavors is extensive, the staff is friendly, and the servings are plentiful. If you encounter a line out the door, it's definitely worth the wait. Just a heads up: the store is quite narrow, so there may be a line, little room for social distancing, and limited seating inside.

We visited for the first time today and can confidently say it was some of the best ice cream we've ever had. We tried the Cookie Monster flavor and were incredibly impressed—it's something we kept talking about on our drive home. We'll definitely make it a point to stop by again the next time we're in town.

The ice creams tasted really nice. Got cotton candy and Cookie Monster Staff are friendly and the line moved fast. The indoor seating is adequate.

One of my favorite ice cream shops in the U.S., and I've been in every state. Definitely in my top 10 ice creams of all time. This ice cream has a flavor and texture that is quite addictive. Please don't change a thing and always keep Sweet Cream as it is my favorite, so simple yet so full of flavor. Only negative is it is 2 hours away from me and sometimes the wait can be quite long.
