Nice Korean cafe, late. Can be busy at the strangest times. decent coffee is the drawing of the baked goods. Those familiar with Korean and Japanese cafes should be very happy and familiar with the offers. Also cream cakes, rolls, Bingsoo and sandwiches View all feedback.
What Rachel Beery doesn't like about Manoa Bakery Cafe:
I got the 11.99 sugary coffee bingsoo, it wasn't worth the price because the blob of ice on top wasn?t coffee ice cream, it was a frozen ball of sugar, coffee, and water combined. I?m so disappointed. The milk tea was super sweet and they didn't ask if I wanted boba so I thought it came with it. Bakery items are cold and soggy. They definitely weren?t good as they used to. Manoa bakery has some of the best bingsoo i’ve ever had. they are very generous with the toppings and i love the scoop ice cream on top. my mother and i ordered the red bean bingsoo and the mango bingsoo. the mango was super fresh and fruity but the red bean was the star of the show. this place had a super cute vibe and the staff was super nice. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a delicious refreshing dessert.
Manoa bakery updates her tables and chairs! Clean modern appearance is super chic and beautiful. Serve various tasty bakeries and deserts. I love the combination of classic Korean bread to something new and original from Manoa. Definitely a great meeting place.
Bingsoo black sesame strawberry were good, but there was a lack of condensed milk so it felt like so you would get spoonfuls of just ice without a lot of flavor when you run out of black sesame/condensed milk to pair it with could've done with a bit more. The coffee bingsoo seemed to have a good amount of condensed milk though! Same with the mango (although the mango pieces taste like canned mango) Sandwich were quite good, fresh, nicely toasted, and the fries remind me of the fries I had in my high school cafeteria. And for the price it's hard to beat. Bread! I would argue that this might be the best bakery for Asian/Korean bread in the area. So many varieties but it's worth going early because they sell out fast! Also very decent coffee!
Been coming here for seven years straight! Bakery selection is great, customer service has always been great!Check the package for details, many items have red bean. A few things have changed in the past couple years less consistency with workers (I was used to the same three or four for many years). The bathrooms used to be immaculate. The music is the same everyday, all day, possibly same CD on repeat. And of course since the pandemic, the hours have not been the same. Even still, best cafe in the area!
