I absolutely love this restaurant! I have been to both locations in Centreville and Annandale. The service at both places was comparable, but the Annandale location has a karaoke bar next door which is a fun addition. This is a relatively new hotpot restaurant located in the K Market shopping area. While it may look unassuming from the outside, once inside, there are plenty of seats and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. They offer both all-you-can-eat (AYCE) and a la carte options, and I opted for the AYCE menu. The AYCE menu is similar to others, with a good variety of meat and non-meat options. The broth arrives hot, which is a plus, and you can choose the flavor - I went with mala, which had a good amount of spice. They also have a decent sauce bar. The staff is friendly, but the service can be a bit slow, possibly due to being understaffed. However, they do keep your water and broth refilled without needing to ask. The quality of the meat was not quite up to my expectations - the brisket could have been fattier and the ribeye had a strange smell. The sides, such as rice and noodles, were good, with the Korean noodles being a standout. I appreciated that they provided smaller portions of rice to leave more room for other items. Overall, it's a decent restaurant with a variety of AYCE options and friendly staff.

When it comes to the food and process, at this restaurant you sit in front of a personal pot with a broth already in it. To adjust the broth, you must fill out a provided sheet with your preferences. There are many different broth options available, and I chose the Pho broth because it was unique compared to other places I've tried. You can also choose the flavor level of your dipping sauce, which is made for you or you can create your own at the sauce bar. Once you have made your choices, you can start enjoying the meat and sides. The quality of the meat and sides was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. As for the service and staff, it was okay. We visited on a Sunday at 4 o'clock and it was quite busy, but the service was not great. We had to press the call button on the table multiple times for water refills and to request new portions. Overall, I would say I enjoyed this restaurant, but if I had to choose between this one and another, I would choose the other. I would give this place a fair rating of 4 out of 5.
You need to ask for jay kim, he is the best server in the house. he was patient and always so helpful with us first hot potter. I had a vegetarian hot pot, so, except the knödeln. although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and offered me an alternative option. it would be more brilliant for them to make it to their menu drum for those of us who only love veggies. the broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to make a vegetarian option together with. we had a party of 8 and jay kim made it so much fun! the food was absolutely delicious. everything was so fresh. another possibility that would have been great to be fresh ingwer in the sauce bar and mushrooms on the sweet plate. we were all pleasantly satisfied with our eating. The ambiente is very nice, light, but more than enough to cook and enjoy. jay kim made sure we always had what we needed. the sauce bar was amazing, so many possibilities. I recommend a few bowls, some for the broth and some for the diving of their cooked food. if they get any kind of meat, they also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to, but it made a good difference. the pieces of meat are cut thinly and again, so fresh. the price was worth the amount of food and experience. there is an all they can eat option or a la carte option where they only have a meat selection and a sweet plate that is more than enough for us as a party of the young ladies. this was a great first hot pot experience and I recommend it in any case, make sure they ask for jay kim. I know you'll enjoy it!
This was the first time we had hot pot. IT WAS AMAZING. This place is definitely worth checking out. We got the all you can eat menu and it was totally worth it. The staff here is INCREDIBLE. Super helpful, super attentive and incredibly polite. We'll be returning here for sure!
