On my college campus, so I'm a little bias in favor of this place...lol. However, it is really five star for the type of small place it is. Good experience overall. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Shosha Wheeler doesn't like about Down The Road Café:
Bard College dining cafe. Food is mediocre at best. Prices for snacks and refrigerated items are pathetically inflated. Kombucha: $6. In terms of made-to-order, there are a few good options. You may wait long for food. You may not get what you ordered. Some items are on the kiosk menu but they don’t actually have them. beware. fried eggs are only fried hard like hockey pucks, you get no choice. no seasoning on anythi... View all feedback.
I had the bacon cheese burger. You order on the electronic kiosk. Then find a seat. The Lady will call your name when the order is ready. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Me and my pals favorite place at Bard. Especially after the renovations, it is such a nice place to go to with a friend or two and have a minute to yourselves in between classes or late at night.
Newly renovated dining spot at Bard College. Friendly and helpful staff with great personalities. The only downside is that since most items are made to order, you will wait a bit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

It is a warm and homey place to go for coffee, grab n go foods, and other foods that are cooked fresh every day.
