The Other Place Ankeny

Eating was okay. I have the pizza special the first on their list. toppings are amazing the crust was so that the sauce was so. the service was 10 out of 10. had enough to watch sport.

Okay, so that the others had visited this place twice, I was less than impressed. but mackinzi has completely changed our thoughts, that's all about it! the third time is really the charm! we had to wait for nothing! Even when she began to fill her section, she always remained so attentive. a huge plus, her personality and friendliness! my daughter can be annoying when it comes to socialization and my son tends to be a little shy. she had a way with them both that I know has nothing to do with the restaurant in itself, but if they find a server so it makes them want back! Now to do with the restaurant that is chip and trio dip is one must when we visit. I love that I can get chips and salsa/queso together with spin-dip here...most places need to order 2 apps just to get that. all 3 dives are wonderful. not sure whether the salsa is made in the house, but it tastes safe as tho it could be. the burgers are also quite dang tasty. I have the south philly burger and could not help, but this happy girl to do that dancing eat every time I took a bit. I'm sure I looked like an idiot, but it was so good, I didn't care! They have a happy hour M-F (I published a picture of the happy hour menu.) we'll be sure to hit him again! I have to try the pizza and nachos! So we were happy to return and gave him another shot! when they decide to go here, ask for mackinzi, try the trio dips and for the love of pete, give them that south philly burger go! they will not be disappointed!

Unkindly personal. if they place an order on their website, then they better hope that they don't screw up because they're accusing them or the delivery driver instead of taking responsibility. eating is okay, but if you want to go somewhere to get good food and good service, I wouldn't waste your time or money here. they need friendly staff!

Great sporty! eating is amazing and a lot of it. friendly staff and fast service.

Staff stopped talking and greeted as soon as we entered. Atmosphere was clean and sanitized. Not too busy either. The waitress sat us down and got us drinks. We all ordered different types of food to try and felt that the food was your typical bar food. Nothing spectacular but nothing that you can’t spend 30 minutes making yourself at home.
