I always loved to visit this pub. eating is delicious. large TV screens with live sports events. fantastic bands at the weekends. juke box has every possible genre of music to meet the mood in which they are. and the bar is equipped with a lot of variations of their favorite tip. the best at this pub is the warm welcome they get from the personal of the locals. What 850laurenb doesn't like about The Pageant:
I haven't been for years and the decor was much better. Looked really nice and the staff were very friendly. The only thing that let them down was the food. I had chicken coujons, the chicken itself was a block of chicken. So probably reconstituted, rather than a nice fresh piece. But the meal was very cheap, so wasn't expecting much. Pub grub, hot good portions. Attentive staff, children welcome. Will go again special mention to Donna.
Great food, excellent staff. Family atmosphere great entertainment every weekend.
