Travelling 25 miles for a Chinese takeaway may seem a bit extreme, but this is one the few establishments that is consistently good. Been good since I was wee. George is a national treasure.
My friend and I decided to visit Hung Wan for dinner tonight. We ordered chips, which were priced at £1.80. The chips were tasty, but unfortunately had too much salt and vinegar, making them soggy. Despite this, our overall experience was good. We had to ask for a fork, which cost 10p. Mr. C. George, who served us, was very hospitable and kept us entertained. He even gave us a local newspaper to enjoy with our meal, allowing us to catch up on the latest news. I highly recommend Hung Wan for your next dinner outing.
Hung Wan is an amazing place to get your food. Very quick cooking and fast delivery times. The owner, George is a very friendly man and always keeps me busy. Highly recommend Hung Wan!
Ordered takeaway the other night. It arrived within fifteen minutes! And was all cooked well so no issue there. Really enjoyed the meal.
I absolutely love the chicken chow mein and the owner is brilliant about leaving off onions. The portion sizes are huge for the price and there's lots of great extras as well. Whenever I'm buying a chinese, I always go to Hung Wan for the best tasting chinese, amazing prices and the wait for the food.
