We opted for the ground floor food court (the name is deceptive as it 's not as casual or junky as a food court might suggest) rather than the more upscale and pricier upstairs restaurant. The menu was quite diverse, ranging from sandwiches to salads to pizzas to snacks like sweet potato fries. The pizza I ordered was delicious, and my friend 's sandwich was equally enjoyable. We opted for one of their many desserts to finish, as well as coffee. Quite reasonably priced!
There is an elegant restraint upstairs that I did not visit. The downstairs café had the best food I found on the island. The food is good and cheap. The wait staff is courteous and efficient. We didn't find a lot of good places to eat on the island so we returned to this one a few times.
As a vegetarian, I was recommended QB. It was a short walk from my hotel. They have a food court, which is not to be confused with an American food court, but a casual sit down eatery. Upstairs, they have a more upscale restaurant. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. The organic leaves of my salad were freshly picked. I will definitely go again.
We had high expectations for our qb dinner but were quite disappointed. After reading all the great reviews and having meals at the restaurant below we expected much more. The cheese tray was excellent and a great start but it went down hill from there. We ordered the seafood platter and none of the items blew us away and most were warm at best. The sides were odd and we did not enjoy them at all. Maybe we were here on an off night but not sure we would return as there are many other good restaurants to dine at in Agra.
I have been in Terceira more than a dozen times and qb restaurant (not snack was one of the few I was still owing a visit. I came here expecting good food and I 'm not disappointed. One must admit that the cook knows his ways around the kitchen. Food was nice, well seasoned (not too much though and the portions were good. However, I must admit I got baffled with the astonishing poor quality of service here... despite being one of the first customers coming in they were able to completely ignore all the provided details when ordering...kids food brought fried eggs despite we clearly asked them not to...our food was ordered with sauce on the side but again they clearly ignored our order....as for me I 'm still waiting for my glass of wine ... never got it... This being said come in expecting nice food but be sure to be very patient and repeat everything 2 or 3 times... I might give it a chance again but it will take some time as I 'm leaving the restaurant with the feeling that I was not the least cared for. If it wasn 't for such a poor service it might aim to 4...
