We visited this restaurant twice because we loved the food, ambiance, and service so much. The homemade vegetable soup was so tasty, hearty, and generous. It was a meal in itself. We had the beef specialty and clams first visit. Second visit included fresh grouper....Can’t say enough about the quality, flavor, and service in this place. View all feedback.

My wife and just spent two weeks in Terceira and loved it. We dined at this restaurant twice as it was very close to our hotel. The first day my wife had a beautiful white and lightly breaded fish that was very excellent. I had...the Alcatra beef which is served in a clay dish. This was not inexpensive it was basically pot roast done in a nice gravy. But it was tough and the fat tasted old and was yellow with an off taste. The second time my wife had the pineapple pork slices with veggies and fries and this was amazing. I though i would play it safe and order the beef tenderloin which was excellent all over the island. When mine came the server maybe the owner told me this was the house steak which it certainly looked like. This was a sirloin or strip steak I have never seen a tenderloin cut into half inch pieces inches long. I asked if it was the tenderloin I had ordered and he told me yes. I even asked a second time a few minutes later because it certainly didn't taste like tenderloin and again was told it was. My wife agreed after one bite. It was too bad this place had been in business over years and was very great looking.
This restaurant was near our hotel. Good meal. We were aware that everything is a la carte including olives, cheese, bread and soup. Not sure others eating there did. The meal was out of We likely won’t eat there again as there are...other places we want to experience.
We love this place it feels like home. The people are so nice the food is so good. Authentic? Yes. Go here and enjoy a good meal.
