I had a burger there , it was tasty and inexpensive. The ice cream was made with local flavors, dulce de leche , figs. Their special is English muffin . The burger was juicy and inexpensive. Great homemade food . View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pastelaria Central:
The location is great since it 's in the heart of Angra. They have indoor service and during the summer outdoor also, although it 's more expensive (which is normal). We were here for lunch and ordered some burgers. They were super dry but ok it can happen and we didn 't want to give them back. The worst thing is the is the staff which is clearly not trained. Wide variety of baked goods and bread. All the pastries are delicious. They also have salty snacks, like rissois and pastel de bacalhau . Drind a galao (it 's like a Cappucino)
It is a very central pastry with a wide variety of choices in what regards traditional bakery of Terceira. It also serves dishes at the lunchtime with a very good quality and low price.
Local atmosphere with local food came here for breakfast and get what you could usually get here: ham and cheese sandwich, cake, coffee. But i also noticed they have daily menu here. It was good and service was ok. Nice place to write postcards, but i wouldn't come here to waste my day... not that kind of place :
We had lunch here twice and the food was great on both occasions. My favourite was the grilled chicken salad with apple and pear slices and melted cheese. More than enough for me for lunch. My husband raved about the Central Sandwich chicken, ham, bacon, cheese, lettuce and the hamburgers. The fries were great. The wine inexpensive.
We keep coming back again and again for our daily hot chocolate fix . They 're sandwiches and pastries are also delicious. Everything is very reasonably priced too
