La Biscuiterie Lolmede - Angoulême

Tucked down a tiny little (traffic free) lane between Mecure hotel and main shopping street, this coffee/cakes/chocolates/gift shop is a real find. They have great china platters, cups, mugs, etc both contemporary and beautiful handmade pieces, reasonably priced which make perfect gifts or additions to your home.

As it suddenly started pouring with rain we ducked into here for a coffee and some shelter, so glad we did. Serves lovely coffee with the biggest choice of biscuits, macaroons, cake, chocolates etc. But what set it apart from others was the fab choice of cups, mugs, dishes, cake plates. Perfect for unusual presents with lovely designs. We bought a number of bits to take home. Along with a jar of their gorgeous caramel sauce. Definitely check this place out, it's down a side street from the famous Mercure Hôtel.

Having visited the daily market in the town, my friends and I were looking for an establishment where we could buy a mid morning snack. This venue was a gem, particularly as we were a party of eight. Macaroons to die for!!! Coffee was superb. The outside furniture was so pretty, clean and modern. The shop provisions were well displayed and moth watering. A real find down a small side street. Well worth a visit.

Thés et cafés délicieux accompagnés de macarons,ou de leur madeleine au chocolat maison! un délice pour les gourmands. On peut y acheter de la vaisselle sympa, papoter entre copines et repartir avec un sachet de petits gâteaux ou autre à petits prix…une belle maison que cette biscuiterie
