The menu is extensive and the lunch specials are good value for $12 a drink of your choice and a choice of about six different dishes. There was not... read more We stopped here for a function on the way back from the Barossa Valley. We ordered a Chicken schnitzel each which came with the salad bar option. There was not a great deal of choice on the salad bar but it was just adequate. The schnitzel was on the smallish side but it was a lunch special and to be fair the bar staff did explain that it was smaller than the normal schnitzel...so fair enough...it was all we needed and it was tasty...and better than the $28 snitty that I had the night before in Tanunda.The main issue I have with this place is that it is located in a fairly low socioeconomic area and while my partner was sitting in the car reading a book....an indigenous person tried to break into the car.....really.....while she was sitting in it!!!!..THey ran off when yelled at and jumped into a car with a group of other indigenous people..security was called, as were the police....who didn't turn up for hours and not before the thieves had returned and another car had been broken into. So...make sure your car is locked and the alarm is on and park as close to the entrance as you can, not around the side.Pity, because the food and atmosphere were pleasant apart from those issues.Wouldn't recommend until security improves....

Had a lovely dinner tonight. Staff were amazing and compliments to the chef. Couldn't have had a better night anywhere else. My partner enjoyed the pork shoulder served on polenta, while I had the squid, and both dishes were incredibly good. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value for money. It's a charming little spot tucked away, and they charge a corkage fee of $10. Overall, a lovely experience!
