We weren't re... read more We were wandering around Anghiari looking for somewhere to have lunch when we were greeted by a welcoming smile from the proprietor of Vinattieri. We weren't really interested in a tasting menu but he assured us that he could provide for our needs. We had just intended to have a quick bite, but we enjoyed the degustazione menu so much we sampled everything, and it was all equally good. The waiters were incredibly attentive and sensitive to our comfort, even pulling down the blinds to shield us from the wind. This is a place run from the heart. The proprietor, is trained as an architect and this is reflected in every aspect of the design of this establishment. Our group of five friends thoroughly enjoyed our stopover here and would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Anghiari.
