It's rare to find a chef who masters cooking to perfection (incredible duck and cod) and knows how to mix distinct tastes (sublime agnolotti with capers) while remaining subtle (magnificent cumin sauce). The room service is perfect. There is always a smile and a pleasant word that compensates, it's true, for a time that can sometimes be a little long between two courses. In the spirit of ensuring that this exceptional restaurant is rewarded according to its merit, I would say that the room could be refreshed without losing its soul, while keeping its authenticity and simplicity. To conclude: it is wonderfully good, fine, subtle, delicious and pleasant; well done !

In short excellent cuisine worthy of a top chef finish but the restaurant’s deco is too cheap and especially seeing the guests enter or get out of the toilet is not very poetic with these dishes so refined. That is why the rating is only 4/5. I hope Les Affamés will one day go to a more welcoming place. There may be an extra star in our department. For info Sens who also dreams of the Michelin grall doesn’t get to the ankle.

A lot of creativity on the pl... read more For the new kitchen specialists, a fan of top chef who excites in front of the pictures of the dishes, this restaurant is for you. A lot of creativity on the plates but for the rest it's mediocre. A good restaurant is also a welcoming place, comfortable chairs and a warm service. Here the room looks like a doctor's waiting room and wooden bistro chairs are uncomfortable. The reception and service are done by the same person who has no time. You stay 10 minutes standing in the entrance waiting for it to be available. We'd need one more person in the room, it's a shame because for the wine it's very good advice. For the kitchen itself it is refined but not enough to make it a big restaurant. The cooking of the fish was not homogeneous with that of my neighbor, too nasty in mine and perfect in his. The plates are not even heated, the pintade was served cold and so the dish without interest. The menu is 50 euros and imposed without choice, to the customer to love it if not so bad for him. Two with the wine you have for 140/150 euros. Frankly, it's not worth it. There are real professionals on Angers who understood that the pleasure of a good meal is not just creativity and technique in the kitchen and even on this last point it is not mastered. You understand I wouldn't go back.
