Incredible address. A perfect welcome and above all an exceptional quality of dishes. Thank you for this delicious and simply perfect little moment.
I was recommended this restaurant some time ago... The restaurant is located in a street near the station, with a fairly discreet frontage. Once you arrive in the restaurant, you are immediately very well received and advised. The dishes are harmonious and the tastes frank and sought after. In short, a very nice discovery. I highly recommend!
Top menus, varied and with good products! The little extra: the rice pudding with its caramel and homemade biscuit, always a treat! Welcome and service at the height of the cuisine!
We had the pleasure of dining at the Affamés restaurant last Thursday, and it was a real treat! The chef's work is impressive: each dish is thoughtful, well constructed, obviously seasonal, with attention to detail, the right taste and great work on culinary research. The chef and sommelier also deserves a special mention. Very welcoming, he gave us excellent advice on the choice of wines, while passionately sharing the names of his suppliers. It’s a pleasure to meet someone who loves their region so much and remains so motivated, even for a service of only 4 seats after a last minute cancellation. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. For a unique menu (4 sequences of dishes without counting appetizers, pre-desserts and sweets! of this quality at only €50 including tax in Angers, you should not hesitate for a second. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!
Gourmet restaurant which prepares very high quality products. This Friday evening we were treated to a menu prepared by the chef with 4 high-end dishes, with appetizers to start and even an appetizer before dessert. Subtle cuisine and very cordial atmosphere. Could deserve a star. Very complete choice of local wines but not only that... I chose a very good red wine from the Brissac region (photo). An address not to be missed. Well done !!!

Carol L 1 only comment !!!!! speaks of regrettable experience. This comment probably comes from a jealous competitor otherwise I recommend that this person only attend the Mac do. She'll pay cheap and treat herself. In short excellent cuisine worthy of a top chef finish but the restaurant’s deco is too cheap and especially seeing the guests enter or get out of the toilet is not very poetic with these dishes so refined. That is why the rating is only 4/5. I hope Les Affamés will one day go to a more welcoming place. There may be an extra star in our department. For info Sens who also dreams of the Michelin grall doesn’t get to the ankle.
If you are looking for finesse and justness in your dishes, Affamés is the restaurant you need. We feel that the chef is passionate and invested in his kitchen. Everything is fair, tastes are powerful and successful. As for the room service, everything was perfect. The choice of wines by the sommelier was in perfect agreement with our tastes and what we were able to taste. Thanks for listening, his smile and his good mood. Don’t hesitate for a long time, Affamés is Angers’ best address. Savour you will not be disappointed.
For the new kitchen specialists, a fan of top chef who excites in front of the pictures of the dishes, this restaurant is for you. A lot of creativity on the plates but for the rest it's mediocre. A good restaurant is also a welcoming place, comfortable chairs and a warm service. Here the room looks like a doctor's waiting room and wooden bistro chairs are uncomfortable. The reception and service are done by the same person who has no time. You stay 10 minutes standing in the entrance waiting for it to be available. We'd need one more person in the room, it's a shame because for the wine it's very good advice. For the kitchen itself it is refined but not enough to make it a big restaurant. The cooking of the fish was not homogeneous with that of my neighbor, too nasty in mine and perfect in his. The plates are not even heated, the pintade was served cold and so the dish without interest. The menu is 50 euros and imposed without choice, to the customer to love it if not so bad for him. Two with the wine you have for 140/150 euros. Frankly, it's not worth it. There are real professionals on Angers who understood that the pleasure of a good meal is not just creativity and technique in the kitchen and even on this last point it is not mastered. You understand I wouldn't go back.

Excellent gourmet cuisine, excellent wines, for very reasonable prices. What more?
Catastrophic! Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at Les Affamés restaurant. We booked on a friend's advice and after looking for some information on the internet. We understood that it would be a unique menu, but without knowing the price. The friend who knew told us about 30 euros. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we saw that it was double, which could not suit all the guests. We waited 30 minutes before the waiter could take a few minutes to exchange with us, while we told him by signs, as we could, there was probably a little concern and we would have to exchange with him. We looked for a solution (is it possible that some take a menu for two? or only a dish? It's impossible to talk, but most of all, we've been very badly spoken! Like children actually! So we're told ah we're going to have a big problem, we'd have to find out before (we explained that a friend advised us and that we had searched for info on the internet we answer that the restaurant doesn't have a website.. well damage. After being practically put out, the person who insured the service has (a bit aggressively you must point out it says you can forget this address. What I said was yes, I was definitely going to forget it but without forgetting before posting a little comment. It's done. I won't forget to advertise. Good luck! A restaurant is also a sense of reception.

We were served with a smile, and a lot of goodness in the choices of dishes. The pintade was delicious, and the choice of wines was surprising, and in agreement with the dishes. I just wish I had a little more quantity in the plate, but they deserve their 5 stars for the quality of the kitchen and service.

It's a small restaurant, but very good. The card is limited but you can enjoy fresh products at an excellent price. Very good reception, which doesn't ruin anything, on the contrary!!! And they have County!!!
Warm welcome and professional service (wine advice, product knowledge, gastronomic cuisine (perfect cooking, flavours and rdv textures in a relaxed atmosphere with totally affordable prices, not to mention fresh and local products (the Lafayette cheese, the cherries that we picked up... In a nutshell! Thank you!
Excellent! We chose the tasting menu and are delighted with each bite. It's good and delicious. A special mention to the server/sommelier who is excellent advice and knows his card perfectly, and very friendly. Super address we recommend

L’endroit porte très bien son nom, car vous y entrerez aussi affamés que vous en sortirez. Par contre votre porte monnaie lui aura senti passé la note!! Menus du soir à prix coûteux! Certes, ce qu’on vous sert est très bon et les produits de bonne qualité, mais les portions servies ressemblent plus à de la dégustation qu’à un repas. Heureusement que j’avais des restes du midi à la maison! Le service quant à lui était plutôt médiocre et très lent. Ce restaurant gastronomique est un bon endroit si vous avez de l’argent, que vous n’avez pas très faim et n’êtes pas pressés! Si ce n’est pas le cas, je vous conseille d’éviter ce piège à bobos prétentieux.
