Contribute Feedback What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Barrel Down:
When I walked in saying I had a reservation through open table they snapped at me saying they didn't have any reservations but they would seat me anyway. They sat us at a weird shared table where some guy was almost sitting on top of me. Not the experience I would expect from an open table partner. View all feedback.
This is a lovely little spot with a great atmosphere, excellent drinks, and friendly staff.
Barrel Down specializes in beer, and they excel at it. I'm not a beer connoisseur, but I can appreciate a good selection. The menu is somewhat limited, primarily featuring sandwiches, burgers, and salads, but everything I've tried has been delicious. The atmosphere is trendy and relaxed, with a cozy and fun vibe. Overall, it's a great place to visit.
When I mentioned that I had a reservation through OpenTable, the staff informed me that they had no record of it but offered to seat me anyway. I was placed at an awkward table where another patron nearly sat on top of me. This was not the experience I expected from a restaurant affiliated with OpenTable.
The service was disappointing due to the waitress's mistakes with our order, which was incorrect multiple times. I had to frequently remind her for silverware and condiments. Additionally, our request for an appetizer was overlooked, and when it was finally placed, it arrived after we had finished our meal.
I made a reservation through OpenTable, but when I arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. I was extremely disappointed!
