Reservation was necessary to get a seat on saturday in this lovely restaurant outside Anduze, although prices were rather high. we got a terrific menu accompanied with good local wines, you couls spend a fortune on a more exquisite bottle if you wanted. Nice and...helpful staff made it a fine family evening. View all feedback.
What Berta Mascareñas doesn't like about La Ferme de Cornadel:
Nous connaissons la Ferme de Cornadel depuis de nombreuses années. L'an dernier nous avions été passablement déçus aussi nous y sommes retournés pour nous faire un nouvel avis. Nous n'avons rien à redire sur le service et la présentation des plats mais les saveurs sont absentes. L'addition quand à elle est très relevée... et ne correspond en rien à la prestation : dommage View all feedback.
Eating was disgusting, I couldn't eat it. the restaurant in pretty and the service is good, but you need a new cook right away.
We were so excited to eat here as friends love it, and it is open every night and is often full. yes the ambiente is beautiful and it is a pretty room, but from the first cold and brusque it was all downhill. there is only one waiter and one helper for around 15 tables, so the service is slow and without charm. everything that might be in vain if it wasn't so disappointing. it sounds good on the menu, but the dishes were prepared a long time ago and have lost their aromes. everything we had was quickly recovered and it tasted very old. I had much better on air france business class and wait for it. the souffle was not the wonderful icy hot dish that could be expected, but a kind of cold ice. the restaurant we thought would be our place to be, is only not worth the visit, especially as the prices are at the top of the local row.
A two-day stay in the rooms and decided to have one of our evening meals in la ferme de cornadel. it was a Monday and had called in the restaurant on the afternoon and a reservation for this night. at our arrival the restaurant was very busy, but we had a very warm welcome from various employees. the view from the restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed seeing wild boar in a meadow over the restaurant terrace. house wines were excellent, the crab starter and the regal of the lamb main square proved to be really excellent choices. we rejected the desert when we were too full. when you look at the meal times other customers had, it was easy to say that the kitchen staff had flair and fantasy. a beautiful evening great place fabulous staff.
This was a lucky find, out of Anduze on the way to La Bambouseraie. We were in a hurry so the very helpful staff pointed us to the Menu of the day and we were served in an efficient and friendly way. The food is...beautifully prepared and presented. I am not a sausage lover, but the artisanal sausages made by a butcher nearby are delicious. A most enjoyable pause in a busy day.
The oeufs benefictine were delicate and delicious. Their cooking is ellaborated and sharpens your senses. The service is amiable. A very nice experience
