Booked a table dispite the pub being fairly empty at before 5 we ordered and were warned it would be 45mins for food, no updates where given chased at the hour,... read more Booked a table dispite the pub being fairly empty at before 5 we ordered and were warned it would be 45mins for food, no updates where given chased at the hour, told it would be 5 more minutes, 1 hour 25 minute food arrived. Food was nice avoided puddings. Got home to find I’d still been charged a 12.5% service charge. Service was poor with almost to many bar staff on and hanging around near the bar but not behind it. Unfortunately this the second time it’s been very slow, last time put it down to it being a works function and a large group. Lovely location, good food but poor service.
