J C's Sandwich Shoppe - Anderson

I have frequented JC’s for many years and always get the bird dog plate with fries. I love their fries so I was very disappointed when I ordered this and it was brought to my table and the fries were cold and chewy. I asked the girl that brought them to me could she go get me some fresh fries since these were cold and chewy but she told me that they were only going to give me the same exact fries I had just gotten so it would not make a difference. Very disappointed!!

Went there for lunch and they were out of alot that was on the menu. Cashier seemed to have other things on her mind and wasn't very nice acted as if I came at a bad time and was interrupting her day so I will not be going there again!!!! I do not recommend this place to get anything to eat!!!!!!

Extremely rude and disgusting lady at the front in a gray jacket and pony tail. Worst first experience. We were all looking forward to it and drove an hour to get there. Just decided to leave instead of arguing. Truly disappointed.

The bird dogs are excellent! It can get a bit crowded, but the line moves quickly, and I've never had to wait long for my food.

Something has happened to the bird dogs I used to enjoy growing up. They now seem to be about half to two-thirds the size they used to be, and the prices have significantly increased. I get that everything is becoming more expensive and that food costs have risen for everyone, but still. I received one chicken finger that appeared to have come straight from a frozen bag, along with just a third of a piece of bacon on a slider-sized hot dog bun. The triple option now offers about the same amount of food that a single used to provide. This was my first visit in years, and it will likely be a long time before I return. I guess I’ll just go back to making them at home.
