We tried two different locations. Delicious food and great service. My husband loves it because they don't put cilantro on anything he has more choices. Some places add cilantro, but it is not mentioned in the menu that you know that it will be left. Chimichanga was delicious. What Khalid Bruen doesn't like about El Arriero Downtown:
We ordered take out.. they charged me .75 x 3 for take out fee. But whatever I will never come back. Cold cheese dip came out the fridge cheap on the salsa even tho we paid for extra pretty much waste of 60 dollars for 2. The food was just put together worst then a fast food chain for the price. They offer an amazing lunch special that comes with a drink, and the wings are absolutely delicious. They're incredibly crispy, and the BBQ sauce is excellent. You definitely need to try them! I would say they have the best wings in town. This is likely our favorite Mexican restaurant in Anderson.
So glad we chose this restaurant. We are in the area for a week and since the other location was not serving alcohol we drove to the downtown location. Best Mexican food we’ve had in ages and the prices were very reasonable. We will be back to try the wings on Wednesday.
It was our first time going there. We were not disappointed! Service, food and prices are great. We'll definitely be going back.
I visited for the first time and I’ll definitely return! I chose to have a late lunch and was extremely satisfied with my experience. We were seated promptly, and the service was quick and friendly, with our waiter being very attentive. The food was exceptional—truly a chef's kiss! Our group ordered the ACP and a few lunch specials, and everything was perfect.
This has to be the best lunch deal out there right now. A whole list of combination plates to choose from, all for only $5.75 each, INCLUDING drink. And the real kicker? The food is GOOD!
