My experiences here are always hit or miss. Last night they were out of bread...BREAD. The word bread is in their name and they were out of it and were all whatever. Sometimes they will forget to put something in the to-go order and be all well, you should of looked instead of taking responsibility, especially after I have asked, Is that everything? But.... they arequick to make amends, the store is always clean, and for the most part the people who work there are flexible and nice. I willcome back, and I am glad Anderson has a Panera!!
The food was decent, but the cleanliness of the tables left much to be desired. My husband used the restroom and remarked that it was not well-maintained. Before we left, I decided to check it out for myself and found one stall without toilet paper, as well as paper towels strewn across the floor along with other litter. The trash can was overflowing. We even had to clear our own table, and the tray return area was stacked high with dirty dishes. It appears that the management at this location needs to focus on improving both cleanliness and staffing levels.
I truly appreciate this restaurant and its cuisine; however, I do have one concern: there’s a woman at the cash register who appears quite pedantic. She seems hesitant to assist and almost gives the impression that the job bothers her. On a positive note, the rest of the staff is wonderful, and the food is exceptional! Nevertheless, my rating is impacted by my experience with the older, thin, petite woman with glasses at the register.
The pre-packaged lettuce was pretty lackluster. Given that their focus is on salads and soups, I anticipated fresher ingredients. My salad ended up being quite bland, so I'm considering trying something different next time—perhaps the Asian chicken salad and autumn squash soup instead.
This was the dirtiest and slowest Panera I have ever visited. The employees behind the counter were video calling their friends, and we waited several minutes for someone to take our order. Eventually, no one approached us, so we had to use the self-service kiosk. However, there were no pagers available when we finished, and we couldn't get the attention of any employees. Both bathrooms were in poor condition as well. Normally, we really enjoy Panera, so this experience was quite disappointing. Service: Dine-in.
