I'm not sure what Claude Annie B is referring to in their comment, as it is always Momo who serves and Loredana who is in the kitchen. They must be confusing it with another restaurant with a similar name, but it's definitely not Ancienne Gare. The date of March 16th doesn't make sense either, as the owners of the restaurant have always been the same.

However, while we were ignored throughout our entire visit, another couple known to the restaurant officials was warmly welcomed. We had to wait to place our order, while other tables were attended to promptly. The appetizers we received were lackluster compared to other guests' dishes. Our main courses were also disappointing, with small portions and poorly cooked pasta. Our neighbors at the table even expressed dissatisfaction with their meal. Overall, the restaurant did not live up to Italian hospitality standards and we will not be returning. Despite being recommended by Italian contacts, we will be dining at Café du Vieux in the future, where we have never been disappointed.
