Nestled in a striking building with stunning views, this restaurant boasts a lively atmosphere that's perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Diners describe the service as attentive and friendly, with generous portions and enticing menu options. However, the restaurant faces challenges, including inconsistency in food quality and noise levels that can detract from the experience. While many patrons enjoyed standout dishes, such as clams and innovative sliders, others noted mishaps like lost orders and overly done meals. Overall, it’s a vibrant spot worth checking out, particularly for a busy lunch, though quieter alternatives may be preferred for a peaceful evening.

We took a taxi to this restaurant and found it to be a very nice place with delicious food and an interesting menu. The beer was also good. They have seating options both downstairs and upstairs, so you can enjoy your meal in a cozy atmosphere.

Between T and M, we would rate this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5. We ordered the fried cauliflower bites, which were delicious and accompanied by unique sauces. T is a vegetarian, but found the "vegetarian friendly" options at The Rustic Goat to be nothing out of the ordinary. M enjoyed the buffalo sliders. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and our server was attentive despite the busy dinner rush. We both would return, although T would prefer to go for dessert and wine rather than dinner.

This restaurant is a great spot for a fast lunch. It wasn't crowded when I went. I ordered a salad and a gyro, which were both tasty but not outstanding. The service was decent and the prices were reasonable for Alaska.

Came her for an early dinner after hearing some recommendations from the locals. Arrived as soon as they opened at 4p and was the second party so was seated right away. Was seated in the nice upstairs dining area that overlooks the downstairs bar area. Raven was our server and she did a great job. She was very friendly, helpful, and prompt in her service. Started off with afew drinks and appetizers. The appetizers were the half order of Drunken Clams Sausage and the Tempura Green Beans. Botharrived within 10 minutes and tasted great. I preferred the Clams Sausage as it was a nice mix of clams, sausage, potatoes, and chili flakes served in a white wine cream sauce. Hint, order extra bread to dip in the sauce. For the meals, ordered theHalibut Special and Alaskan Sockeye Salmon. These arrived about 15 minutes later which gave enough time to enjoy theappetizers. Both were nice, thick cuts of fresh fish. I slightly preferred the Halibut, but would've been happy with either asmy main dish. The salmon was served over risotto while the Halibut was served over couscous. For dessert, had the GelatoFlight and Pistachio Chiffon. They were both equally good, depending up on what you were in the mood for. Neither was overlysweet Overall, very nice ambiance, great food and service. Would definitely recommend coming to the Rustic Goat if you're inAnchorage.

How about those bison burgers? Yummy with the onion jam added a terrific flavor for brunch. They were yummy and cute. The steak breakfast was okay, I felt it lacked flavor but good enough. The ambiance and decor was great and the service was swell. I’llbe back to try more items.
