I am not vegan, but with a sister who is, I have tried a lot of vegan food. However, this is the first time I can say that I would not have known it was vegan. I had a Philly cheese steak sandwich and she had a cheeseburger. It was probably the best Philly cheese steak I have ever had - truly delicious. You order using a tablet so you can customize your order. The menu offers a variety of options and I am excited to try everything! My sister mentioned that when she first tried the cheeseburger, it tasted so good she had to double check that it was actually vegan. Just a heads up, this is the only completely vegan restaurant in the state.
The food at this restaurant is amazing! I tried the Mediterranean Bowl and the Philly Steak fries and they were both full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future!
My husband and I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time. The owner, Dan, is amazing - he is patient, passionate, and truly dedicated to his food. You can taste the love and effort he puts into each dish. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served nice and hot. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up taking two meals to go. If you're in search of a full vegan menu with a creative twist, this is the perfect place for you!
Ok. So we're from the east coast but we've lived in the south west and have eaten in Cali and I kid you not: this food blew my mind and everyone else's out of the water. In Alaska! Please come support this wonderful human and devour the Chedder Jalepeño Popper. You will not be disappointed!
It was my aunts 70th birthday and I am all the way down here in the lower 48 so I had DoorDash deliver it from Preference to her and my mom. They LOVED the food! First of all Preference is a 10 out of 10 with communication and on fire when it comes to their menu. The next time I visit my family in the 907 Preferences is my go to!

The Philly cheesesteaks were delicious, and the animal fries were a hit, but we were not fans of the wyngs. The texture did not resemble chicken, and the taste was off-putting with an overly acidic and dry flavor.
We were visiting Anchorage, and went to this place several times because the food was awesome and the owner and staff were so sweet. Although everything was good, my favorites were the animal fries (I added grilled mushrooms to mine) and the double cheeseburger. Mouthwateringly delicious.
Incredible Vegan American Diner Food. Easily the best burger I've had anywhere. Sheer hedonic enjoyment for the appetitive vegan. My burger was like a gift from the grill gods. I usually balk at beyond meat, but it didn't matter the patty could have been cardboard; the fixings were stupendous. The homemade organic ranch dressing, the panko crusted jalapeno, the lettuce, tomato, onions. Simply, the best drive-in style Americana turned vegan short order, quick serve meal in the Americas. Went for a side of fries with buffalo chicken and ranch too which boosted the flavor to the moon. I can't find the words to express how satisfying this meal was. This may seem like it's junk food, but it's not. It's pure gold. Special thanks to friendly, dedicated vegan owner who operates the PETA awarded compassionate business and performs daily activism with this solid evidence that any food can be vegan. I suspect I am soon to succumb to the irresistible urge to eat here every day, three or maybe four times a day. Reasonable prices, cholula hot sauce, and a safe, warm dining room.
We tried the philly cheese steak, bbq and hot wyngs, the med bowl and fries with bang sauce. Let me tell you about the belly fairies dancing with happiness from the amazing flavors. Updated from previous review on 2023-06-03

Chef Dan has opened Alaska's first and only vegan restaurant! It is a great diner style spot with a huge menu for vegan and meat eaters alike. Make sure to check it!
Awesome menu, amazing taste, fantastic owner. Gf is vegan and I’m not but this place slaps. Everything they have is awesome. If you’re looking for Whole Foods TM style or just plain vegetables and fruits this isn’t for you. This is a food truck style vegan joint that aims at making delicious comfort foods and they knock it out of the park every time! Would give more stars if I was allowed.
