I guess th... read more Haven't been to jacks for a while and we always used to go there for the fajitas. So we ordered again the chicken version and we decided to split it. I guess they really want you to order one each at $21 as they only give 5 small tortillas and five small pieces of chicken, maybe a third of a chicken breast. Maybe a tablespoon of cheese and the Dame for lettuce. The chicken came on a bed of onions, one piece of red pepper and the same for green, I guess peppers are expensive and onions are cheap. Oh well back to Chipotle.

I asked for a quie... read more After a long day of home improvements and a crying baby I was looking for a quiet meal at 9:30 pm.Jack Astor's was close so I gave it a shot. I asked for a quiet booth and that is what they gave me. Finally some peace.My server Pat was very attentive, brought me my diet coke right away and kept it topped up without my asking.I started with the loaded bruschetta, and it was loaded alright. 5 crispy pieces of bread loaded with toppings. After I finished the bruschetta there was still a ton of toppings to clean off the plate, which I happily did.Next I tried the Sugar Shack salad, a salad with their featured Sugar Shack chicken fingers. The salad came out 5 minutes after I had finished my appetizer, Pat had the timing under control. I was surprised how much chicken was in the salad. And the apple vinagrette dressing was light and crisp. I really enjoyed the salad and would order it again.Once I was done Pat cleaned up the table, I wasn't interested in dessert so he brought me the bill. This was one of the better meals I have had in a "chain" restaurant. Food was great and the service was outstanding, thank you Pat.I would return to both the bruschetta and Sugar Shack salad again.

We walked in with nine people with no reservation on a Saturday night, they accommodated us, and the service was still quick! Really great food!

The service was fantastic at this location and the other food we had was quite good. PLEASE BRING BACK THE CHEDDAR ALE SOUP!!
