Went to the restaurant with my folks. Tried fish dish in the menu. More then the meal taste the way of presentation in the pure traditional style is what we enjoyed. Did felt maybe there was scope for making it better View all feedback.
We ordered traditional Assamese thali...it was great. If u want the real essence of Assamese cuisine, u must try it.
One of the best place to test ethnic Assamese food...Served in Assamese style .Great food..Value for money.

The owner and celebrity chef Atul Lahkar, came by to say hi, and on hearing that I had a slightly upset stomach, offered a glass of Thekera on the house. We proceeded to order rice, and dal, and bhokuwa fish, and duck curry. The taste was on the money. The price is just right, not too expensive at all.And yes, the menu is not limited to Assamese food. It's quite extensive. The thalis are very popular here.If you are in Guwahati, I would suggest that you visit the place.
We took some time to find this place. It is located in a building tucked behind a petrol pump. We visited the restaurant for traditional authentic Assamese food. The place and the service is simple. Atul, the Chef at the place helped decide the meal for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the experience. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed the food immensely. My favourite dish was sesame seeds paneer. It looked like palak (spinach) paneer but there was no spinach in it. It was very good. There were some greens served as well which I enjoyed immensely. I believe the non vegetarian food here is good too. They had a variety of fish dishes. I strongly recommend the place for traditional authentic Assamese food.
