This is a beautiful small place to eat South Indian food. The vegetarian Thali is really good. However, the amount of arms and rice are served less. Service is excellent, taste is good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chennai Kitchen:
We from south India, visited to have south indian food. This restaurant serves idles dosas etc. The quality of the idles served was very poor. The Dough was excessively fermented and was not up to the mark.I write this review because, this did not meet even 25% of expectation. We tried dosas and idles and wada. If any one like to go here with expectations of good south indian dish as served in Saravana bhavan or Anna... View all feedback.
This place is truly a gem . the food is absolutely perfect . authentic and delicious. place is nice and clean . the staff well aware of the food served and ingredient details. Must visit . super soft Iddlis and amazingly crisp paper dosa is what i ate .
Just now I visited Chennai kitchen and tried few dishes , cheese rawa dosa is must try item. Uttapam was not so good but the chutneys are delicious. Even rates are not so high.
The breakfast and thali at this restaurant are outstanding, especially the exclusive big-sized Thatte Idli on Sundays. The authentic South Indian dishes are a must-try. The service is excellent as well. I have visited three times in the past 15 days.
The place is too small and its reputation is growing too big. And why not? The food here is delicious. We badly needed a proper South Indian joint in Guwahati, after we lost the erstwhile Shamrock restaurant in Panbazar and the Cafe de Woodland's. I...wish they would expand their place a bit, so that more people can enjoy what they have to offer. We enjoyed our lunch thalis and Mysore Dosas, but the mango shake was a bit over priced for the quantity.
Chennai kitchen is an awesome place for people who love south indian dishes. All will relish the south indian taste.
