I've been to many places, including some in Hawaii, and I can confidently say this is the best spot I've encountered. The fish is incredibly fresh and tastes amazing. The only downside is that parking can be quite a challenge. The restaurant is small, and since it's situated in a bustling part of downtown Anaheim, it can get really crowded during lunchtime, often causing lines to extend out the door. But that's a good problem to have! I highly recommend giving it a try!

However, if they adhere to more traditional ingredients, they will find them fresh, well cut/forced and generous. I have two unsolicited advices to the owners/managers of the venue: 1 make some preselected combos, so customers have a way to quickly order something ground, and 2 add arugula to the refill selection. arugula, when served in the poke modest, adds a big earthy acid note and just a bit crisp. it serves as a much better replacement for gurkens, which, be honest, do not belong to fresh poke. gurken let all their juice out quickly when they cut, make all their fish and rice soggy. gurken also don't taste well soon after cutting up so the only thing left is soggy crunch. arugula will be a better, more nutritious and tasty source of crunchy.
