Pho 2012 - Anaheim
Pho 2012
Description
In the vibrant dining scene of Yorba Linda, one restaurant has generated mixed reactions from patrons. While some rave about the generous portions and flavorful pho, highlighting the friendly and familial atmosphere, others express disappointment over poor service and unexpected charges. Reports of unpleasant encounters with staff and issues with food quality, including cleanliness concerns, have marred the experience for some diners. Despite these criticisms, loyal customers appreciate the authentic Vietnamese dishes available at reasonable prices, suggesting that for those seeking comfort food, this establishment holds potential, provided improvements are made in service and consistency.

The service was terrible. The woman at the front was very rude; she didn't even greet us as we entered and just yelled for us to sit down. I did not enjoy my experience here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Food is decent and can tell it's a small family owned business bc the whole family was working at the kitchen and ordering. The owner (the dad) seems funny but he also rubbed me in a wrong way with masks, my daughter wore one but I didn't and she pointed to me and talked to my kid and saying no mask no food; I don't know if he was trying to be funny, but it made me feeling uncomfortable in front of my kid and the rest of the people at the restaurant. I don't know if he did it to others, but if not, I didn't know why he did it to me...Food was ok and came fast; portion is decent.
This restaurant is incredibly dishonest. They added a 15% party fee to our bill because we were a group of five, but they never mentioned this fee to us and there were no signs indicating it. When we spoke with the owner, he claimed that the fee was listed on the menu. However, when we asked him to show us where it was mentioned, he couldn't find it and said it must have been on an old menu. Then he abruptly left to the back kitchen. The owner is clearly trying to take advantage of customers. Additionally, they didn't even refill our water glasses or provide extra napkins.
Pretty good broth. I got the small size bowl of pho and it was loaded with meats. Good valueFood: 4/5
Wonderful customer service! Friendly and attentive staff! I believe Pho is the perfect meal to enjoy on a cold, rainy day or for those days that you may need a little pick-me-up.I like to order their P1 and make it a Special Combo: (beef broth, eye round, well-done brisket, tendon tripe), 2 egg rolls a soft drink. The broth always comes out piping hot, is very delicious, and I love that they provide you with a lot of the side veggies as well. The last time I dined here there was a sweet older gentleman who was so funny and making jokes with our table. He reminded us of an older uncle with his cheerful smile and dad jokes. Overall, the ambiance is warm and inviting and the staff really treat you like family. I look forward to visiting more often.
