The cones are tasty soft. The cinnamon cones with vanilla ice cream and apple cake are wonderfully warm and pleasantly cool. Beautiful, fun arrangements for the whole family! View all feedback.
What Robin Z doesn't like about House Of Chimney Cakes:
After a healthy wait for our Oreo, we dug in to find very average ice cream, a drizzle of cheap chocolate sauce and a Chimney Cake that tasted like chemicals. Left our tongue numb. No idea what they doing to add this taste but it's awful. View all feedback.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally went! We had the Oreo, birthday cake and cookielicious, and they were beautiful. The presentation is amazing! I have to say my favorite part though was the actual chimney cake. While the ice cream was good, the chimney cake was chewy, moist and crunchy all at once. If I were to to back I would probably get it without the ice cream. A Hungarian friend of mine (chimney cakes are Hungarian said that Americans ruin chimney cakes with all the ice cream, and I kinda see what she is saying now. Don’t get me wrong though, try it with the ice cream!!! It’s a really fun treat:
If you're a fan of ice cream and churros, definitely go check this place out. Price is very reasonable, costs about $8-$9 for either the custom chimney cake or the special menu options. I opted for the Lemon Blueberry one, which comes in a blueberry sugar coated cone topped with vanilla soft serve, blueberries, blueberry powder, lemon oreos, and blackberry syrup. It gets very messy when eating the ice cream, so make sure to pick up some of the alcohol wipes by the register and eat it out by the tables or some place where you're fine if it drips. The cone was a tad bit too sweet for my taste, so I didn't end up finishing it, but the ice cream itself and the toppings were delicious. My friend opted for a custom one and got a pineapple dole whip/strawberry swirl which was delicious, so if you're a fan of those flavors, I definitely recommend getting that ice cream as your base. There are a limited amount of free street parking nearby from what I know, and conveniently located right next to the store is a parking structure with limited amount of free 2 hour parking. Make sure to check which side you park though, because one side requires you to pay and the other is free for 2 hours.

Perfect for Instagram. The ice cream is gorgeous and the staff is great. Got the Blueberry lemon and Tropical Fruit sundae. The Blueberry lemon was alright, but I only tasted the lemon oreos. The Tropical Fruit sundae was excellent. They used pinapple dole whip as the base, and that was exceptional. One real negative with the experience is that the draw of the place is the custom cones that they make in-house and cover in a variety of flavors. However, because its an ice cream cone, and they put so much on the ice cream that by the time you get to the cone, it's cold and hard. May have to get a cone by itself next time.
Soft serve ice cream is pretty good. I feel like the cone that they make can be a little softer, but overall I’d stop by again if I was in the area ?
