Gandhi Palace - Anaheim

Thank you for an AWESOME dining experience! We wanted to enjoy an Indian food and we felt like we had hit the jackpot with this place. It was a short walk from the Hilton and worth every step. The service was top notch and our waiter took extra time to tell us about the different things we ordered. The food was delicious and the portions were good for exchange. The Naan was perfect and we enjoyed the cobbled Veggies. At the next visit to Anaheim we will definitely visit this jewel!

The food was amazing, but honestly the service could not have been better. The owners were incredibly nice and helped us with the right meals. My friends in India have suggested dishes and we must finally try them here and it is up there on the best food we have eaten. We're crazy that we didn't find this restaurant in the first night, it's right behind our hotel room. We'll come back to lunch

This is our second visit to Gateway to India. Both times the food was delicious and the service was top notch. During our first visit we shared a chicken Tikka Masala and a chickenbiryani rice dish with Naan and Samosas as starters. During this visit we reprised the Samosas and Chicken Tikka Masala, adding a coconut chicken curry. The kitchen will ask if you want mild, medium or hot on the spice level. The flavors definitely meet the brand for what the dishes we have made towards gravitation and bring so many memories of travels we have made. The family that leads gateway to India is so gracious. It was a pleasure to serve them every time. The word at the table: do you have the postie? Good, because now we will destroy it! Note: Please note that the dining area closes 30 minutes before closing. You can order for the exit (whether you order locally or call in your order) up to 30 minutes before closing.

I can't stop thinking about my culinary experience in this restaurant. I brought friends who had never had Indian food before and I made an excellent choice. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was very friendly. In fact, I would rate this as one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. I can't wait to go back.

We loved eating here! I got the tikka masala and my husband got a coconut curry based on the manager’s recommendation! We also got normal basmati rice and garlic naan. All the dishes were amazing, fresh, and hot! Since everything is made to order, it can take a bit longer than quick service restaurants. Despite this, we didn’t have to wait long. Would eat here again for sure!!
