Galactic Grill - Anaheim
Galactic Grill
Description
Dining at this Disneyland restaurant offers a mix of highs and lows. While the food can be hit-or-miss—some dishes impress like the Tropical Fruit Parfait and Veggie Wrap, others leave diners wishing for more—customer service experiences vary, with instances of rudeness overshadowing pleasant interactions. Many appreciate the mobile ordering feature for its convenience, though seating can be limited. Despite some complaints about value and quality, adventurous eaters may discover hidden gems amidst the menu, particularly for vegan options. Overall, while not flawless, this dining spot can be a satisfying choice for park-goers seeking diverse culinary experiences.

Galactic Grill is located in the shadow of Matterhorn, and since iwe barely ate after rope drop, we decided to recharge here. We used mobile ordering to avoid the crowds. Worked flawlessly, and we got our meal quicker than expected. The burger and frieswere pretty standard, and the slushy we had was sweet and refreshing. For a meal at Disney, it was satisfactory.
I waited an hour in line because Disneyland has reduced all quick-service restaurants to just one cashier. When I finally got to the front, I was told I couldn't order mac and cheese a la carte. The Darth by Chocolate parfait was decent, but it wasn’t worth the hour-long wait for something pre-packaged that they could have just handed to me. Overall, it wasn’t a magical experience. I imagine Mickey would be rolling in his grave. On the plus side, the French fries were the best in the park!
I absolutely love this salad! It's the freshest amusement park salad I've ever tasted. It feels like everything is made fresh that day, rather than being taken from a bag or pre-packaged container. They must have been serving it for years! It's my go-to choice when I'm trying to eat healthy.
This fast-food spot offers good value for an amusement park. We placed our order online and were notified to pick it up in under 15 minutes. The restaurant stays open past 9:00 PM. The chicken sandwich was a generous portion, juicy, and crispy, served on a soft bun with coleslaw instead of lettuce. There's outdoor seating in front of a stage that previously hosted fantastic bands before the pandemic. The tables were clean and there was plenty of seating available.
Had the veggie wrap it was decent. Long but not super heavy. The sauce was good but the wrap was kind of powdery, and the whole thing was cold. The cheese was alright, some kind of shredded Daiya or something. Fries were not bad!! All in all a decent meal but not one of my favorites.
