What Jessica Betschart doesn't like about Blue Bayou:
the only good thing about this place was the atmosphere, I ordered a salad which was literally a bowl of only tomatos and some vinegar on which was terrible. The pesto pasta had no flavor and everything was insanely priced. Wouldn 't come back or recommend for dinning unless you just want to look around the ride. Our server hardly came and I never got any refills on my drink. View all feedback.
We're sad to say that our favorite Disneyland restaurant has taken a bit of a turn for the worse. Our first return post covid, after many many many visits. The food just was not the same. The skin on the fish was rubbery, and unappetizing. The tomato sauce on the Cajun chicken tasted almost canned. And the service just seemed stressed and slow. The poor staff were grossly overworked with too few staff per table and far too many guests for them to give any real attention. What used to be a top notch establishment feels like it's devolved into a place that needs much better management. Skip on this for now, the ambiance doesn't quite make up for the other lacking features. Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions are well respected . Gluten free is supported.
Service great. Food wonderful. The fillet, prime Rib , Monte, Cristo sandwiched, specialty fish dinner was all excellent, and the sauces were superb.
Blue Bayou Restaurant is a must. We order a Monte Cristo and a Prime Rib. Our servers were amazing as per Disney standards. The atmosphere within Pirates of the Caribbean ride is outstanding, you can eat quietly and still enjoy the setting. We were sat by the ride and I loved it. This place is worth the wait (and you do need reservation to go). Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of accommodations for your food allergies.

This was one of my most favorite parts of our recent Disneyland trip. I made reservations 60 days before (set my alarm to make them at 6 am exactly 60 days before we planned to go cause reservations fill up quick! , and it was exactly what my family and I needed after our first day there and walking 6 miles already. My favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean so I'm biased about the atmosphere, love it!, but the food was delicious and the best part was being able to order a glass of wine with dinner since alcohol is scarce at Disneyland. My son had the filet mignon topped with crab, my husband and I ordered the rib eye which was melt in your mouth, my sister ordered the salad with fruit and the chicken gumbo, and her friend ordered the pasta with pistachio pesto and as a vegetarian who has trouble finding things to order normally she was in heaven. A bit of a pricey trip but when you consider $600 including tip for five people, 2 drinks each, an appetizer, entrees and dessert, the atmosphere and the and the waitress was overly generous with the coffee at the end, Id say 100% worth it! Vegetarian options: The pistachio pesto pasta is a great option for vegetarians
