Beautiful old building. We love to seek out places like this as we travel the country in our motorhome. Usually we will strike up conversations with the others at the bar and/or the bartender. This place was full of young, unfriendly people. We went down the road to a hole in the wall bar called The Ranch. Big interior space with lots of great outdoor seating out back, and a taco stand (also out back). There are some very interesting beers on the menu, many of which I’m certain do not follow German purity law, but if you’re into the more creative craft brews then I think you’ll enjoy it!! There is a water cooler with unlimited water, although it does have disposable plastic cups so I just refilled my beer pint with water in order to attain necessary post-beer post-taco hydration. Good selection of hot sauces for your tacos. The building is historic and well-located. Overall we had a great time here. Recommended!!
