Good Indian food in a great part of Amsterdam, the Jordaan. Will return!

The best Indian food I have ever eaten anywhere in the world including India. On entering the restaurant we were greated by the aroma of spices and smells that tantalised our taste buds and the food did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavours and spices were inspiring. The food was so good that we dinned there again the next night!!!

De voorgerechten waren lekker, maar de hoofdgerechten waren te romig en veel te zoet. De bediening was vriendelijk, maar erg gehaast.

Unfortunately we didn't have a pleasant experience with this restaurant. When we arrived they denied us seating claiming that they don't know anything about OpenTable and therefore they haven't reserved any table for us. They told us that if we wanted we could come back in 45 minutes and see if by that time there was a table for us. We tried to look for another place to eat but unfortunately it was late Friday night and we didn't find anything. So we came back and they gave us a table 50 min later. The service was awful, slow and not caring. We had to ask several time for the same things, even the napkins. The food was pretty good but overall a very bad experience.
