Every single dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, there wasn’t a weak bite all evening. Service was spot-on friendly, efficient, and perfectly timed. A special shout-out to the staff’s sake recommendation: it paired perfectly with our meal and showed they really know their list. What truly amazes me is... read more We’ve been visiting Nanbu for quite some time now, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve enjoyed their fantastic sushi. What truly amazes me is how consistent the quality has been over the years — it’s safe to say Nanbu remains one of the best sushi spots in town. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the sushi? Always fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. It’s not just the food that keeps us coming back, though. The owner is a true gentleman — friendly, passionate about what he does, and it turns out we even share the same taste not only in sushi but also in watches! If you’re a sushi lover or simply appreciate quality and great service, I highly recommend giving Nanbu a try. It deserves all the praise it gets! The onl... read more Third time having dinner there. The food quality is remarkable and the service faultless. Not cheap but still a good deal for the quality in my opinion. The only negative point is that the restaurant is a bit noisy, so depending on the discretion -or lack of it- of the other tables it can be annoying

The food is amazing, everything we have tried has always been great quality and very well prepared. Ho and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Nanbu has become one of our favorite restaurants in Amsterdam.
